The Legacy

Little Pigs BBQ was bought in 1977 by Douglas Leon Rogers and his father, Wilber Rogers. It started as a simple mom and pop for Douglas and Wilber to run as a project together. A few years later, the business blossomed, resulting in the opening of two more Little Pigs locations. Before long there were several Little Pigs locations all over the place.

Expantion

Douglas had 4 children that would eventually grow up to run these businesses. Today there are approximately 12 locations all over South Carolina. In 2012, Douglas Rogers moved to Myrtle Beach along with his second youngest son Jason Rogers, Jason's wife Susan Rogers, and there two children, Juliana and Christian Rogers. This is where they created Little Pigs BBQ Surfside, located at 3901 Dick Pond Rd. Myrtle Beach, SC. Every year that this restaurant has been open, they have won award after award, from the Taste of the Town to the contests of the local newspapers.
